How to Change Regions in Streaming Services Such as Netflix or Amazon
Streaming services like Netflix or Amazon Prime Video have very different catalogues of content depending on which region you're connected to. With Privacy Hero, you can easily switch between regions to enjoy all the content these services have to offer.
This guide will show you how to quickly switch between regions for our supported streaming services. The guide will be broken into two parts, Changing Streaming Regions and Disabling Streaming Relocation for a Service (Watch Your Own Country's Content).
Note: For services such as Hulu or BBC iPlayer that only support a single region, Privacy Hero will automatically relocate your device. This guide is only for supported services that have separate catalogues of content for different regions.
Changing Streaming Regions
From the Privacy Hero portal, select the "Streaming" tab. If you've just logged in, you will be brought to the "Streaming" by default.
Note: United States will be the default region for each streaming service.
Select the drop-down menu next to the streaming service that you would like to change regions for, and click the region you would like to switch to.
You will receive a confirmation your streaming relocation change has succeeded. If VPN protection is running, you will also receive confirmation that your VPN is connected. You may now enjoy that region's content catalogue for the selected streaming service.
Disabling Streaming Relocation for a Service (Watch Your Own Country's Content)
Select the drop-down menu next to the streaming service that you would like to disable streaming relocation for, and select "Disable Relocation".
You will receive a confirmation that relocation has been disabled. If VPN protection is running, you will also receive confirmation that your VPN is connected. You may now enjoy your own country's catalogue for that specific streaming service.
