How to Manage Which Devices Use VPN Protection
While VPN protection has many benefits, there are some devices on your network you might not want running through a VPN. With Privacy Hero, you have the choice to pick and choose which devices use VPN protection.
When you first enable VPN protection, as detailed here, all managed devices on your network will use VPN protection by default. This guide will show you how to quickly disable or enable VPN protection for individual devices.
Disabling VPN Protection on a Device
From the Privacy Hero portal, select the "My Network" tab.
You will now see all managed devices on your network. Locate the device you would like to disable VPN protection for.
In order to better help you locate your device, here's a breakdown of the information shown for each device.
Once you've located the device, continue to the next step.
On the device you've located, select the Settings cog in the top right corner.
You will see the device menu. Select "Disable VPN Protection" to disable VPN protection for that device.
The device will now have VPN Protection disabled. You may repeat this for any other devices you would like to disable VPN Protection on.
Enabling VPN Protection on a Device
Locate the device you would like to enable VPN protection for and select the Settings cog in the top right corner.
You will see the device menu. Select "Enable VPN Protection" to enable VPN protection for that device.
The device will now have VPN Protection enabled.
