How to configure privacy features (VPN, Ad Blocking and Malware & Phishing protection)

Privacy Hero's privacy features can be enabled and disabled both on the router level and the device level.

• Adjusting them globally, on the router level means - they apply globally to all devices connected to your Privacy Hero router.
• Adjusting them per device, or on the device level means - they will override the global "shared" profile and only apply on that specific device.

How to configure globally on the router level:

Step 1:

From the app or the web dashboard's home screen select the VPN shield icon.

Step 2:

On the next screen, simply turn any of the options available ON/OFF 

How to configure individually per device:

Step 1:

From the app's or the web dashboard's home screen select the device you want to configure from the device list at the bottom.

Note - Devices will only appear on this list if they have connected to the Privacy Hero network at least once before.

Step 2:

Next, select the Settings tab on screen and adjust any of the settings to ON/OFF.

Remember that this will override any of the privacy settings you have set globally for this particular device.
