How to enable streaming relocation

Privacy Hero supports relocation of certain streaming services that allows you to access them without being geo-blocked. Below, we will go over how to enable relocation and adjust its setting.

We highly suggest taking a look at our overview on how streaming relocation works as our specialized streaming solution works differently to traditional VPN's. 

Step 1

Visit the Privacy Hero dashboard or mobile app and login to your account if you are not already logged in.

Step 2

In the dashboard's main page, select the Settings link under Streaming Relocation.

Step 3

Turn ON relocation using the switch on the page.

Step 4

Pick a country for each service you would like to relocate by clicking/tapping on the flag icon under each service - If a service is available in your local country as well, you will see your country's flag as a selectable option.

Note that some services will require a separate account/subscription for each country - these services are located below in a separate list under the " Non-Portable" notice.

Notes:

You may need to reboot or refresh the device you want to watch on if the effects to do not show up immediately. We've outlined what you need to do on different devices below:

  • Smart TV: Turn off and turn on your TV.
  • Android TV: Exit and reopen the app or restart the device.
  • iOS and Android Apps: Exit and reopen the app.
  • Web Browser: Close and reopen the browser.
  • Roku or Amazon Fire TV: Restart the device or disconnect and reconnect power.
  • Other Streamers: Exit and reopen the app or restart the device.
